The term 'NicolaDawn Designs' or 'us' or 'we' refers to the owner of the website whose address is:
NicolaDawn Designs, 39 Parkway, Sawbridgeworth, Herts, CM21 9NR.
The term 'you' or 'your' refers to the user or viewer of our website or customer.

Order placement & payment

1) A non-refundable deposit for 50% of the total order value (excluding P&P) is required to confirm your order.

2) We advise that you order approx 5-10 more invitations than required in case of extra guests or mistakes when writing as additional items may be difficult to supply at short notice.

3) Payments are accepted by cheque, (made payable to "Nicola Pipe"), via bank transfer or by Paypal. A Paypal invoice will be issued on request. (Paypal payments are subject to a 3% surcharge on the total cost of the order to cover processing fees).

4) Orders can be placed and paid for in separate stages as we appreciate that details and number of guests may change.
The typical order stages are: • Save the dates • Invitations • Day stationery • Thank you cards.

5) Upon receipt of your order and cleared payment, we aim to send your first set of proofs within one week, with the exception of bespoke designs which may take a little longer. In this case NicolaDawn Designs will advise the you of the estimated timelines during the quotation stage.

5) The remaining balance (including delivery charges) will be invoiced on approval of each stage and must be paid for and funds cleared before goods are printed and dispatched. All Items remain the property of NicolaDawn Designs until funds clear.

6) Once your stationery has been dispatched NicolaDawn Designs cannot be held responsible for any delay, loss or damage to items. You should notify us of any damage within 7 days of receipt.


1) In the event of order cancellation by the you, the deposit is non-refundable.

2) Due to the personalised nature of the items we produce, if you cancel the order after proofs have been approved, all completed work must be paid for and no refunds are possible.

3) All orders are printed to meet your approved requirements and are non-refundable and non-returnable.

4) You will be responsible for checking that invitations sent to your guests are the correct type. NicolaDawn Designs accepts no responsibility should such circumstances occurs and no refund/compensation will be given for guests receiving the wrong invitations. In some cases this will involve opening the invitations from a wallet, untying a ribbon or removing/replacing a belly band.

1) All information supplied for stationery must be in an electronic text format i.e MS Word, MS Excel or PDF, and accurate to the best of your knowledge to minimise amendment and reproofing.

2) Information for items needed on the day (Order of Service, Menus, Place Name Cards, Table Plans, Table names/numbers) must be signed off a minimum of 3 weeks before the event date to guarantee the delivery of the items in time.

3) You the customer are responsible for obtaining any copyright permission associated with hymns etc. for The Order of Service.

4) Photos must be supplied via emailed in a JPEG format. NicolaDawn Designs does not accept responsibility for the low quality print resulting from the use of low resolution photos supplied.

5) You the customer are responsible for obtaining any copyright permission associated with photographs.

1) Proofs will be sent via PDF on email unless specifically requested otherwise, using the wording and layout agreed in your order.

2) You are responsible for checking spellings and grammar, especially if you have supplied your own wording. NicolaDawn Designs will roughly check wordings but if designs are approved with typos and subsequently printed, NicolaDawn Designs takes no responsibility. Subsequently, if replacement items are required, you will be charged for them.

3) Upon receipt of the proofs, you must notify us immdeiately of any changes required via email.

4) During the approval of proofs, you may make up to 3 (three) sets of changes i.e modification of text, colours etc. Any additional sets of changes may be subject to additional cost.

4) Please note that the colours of designs viewed on screen can differ from printed colour and although colours are standardised you should try to see hard copy samples produced using the exact colours you require before signing the stationery off for print. First off samples can be purchased for a nominal fee.

5) Once we receive your emailed approval of the design, you will be asked to pay the outstanding balance of your invoice before we commence printing your order.

6) We understand that occasionally last minute changes may be required and we will do our best to accommodate any late revisions (eg a last minute guest change to a seating plan). However please bare in mind that additional changes after approval may be subject to extra costs if production of the order has begun.

1) NicolaDawn Designs provides a bespoke design service at a rate starting from £100 payable with your invoice. Prices may vary depending on the exact detials of your enquiry and the amount of design time required.

2) All estimated costs are not all encompassing and if additonal time other than that previously quoted is required to develop the finalised design, the cost may need to be revised.

3) If you like an existing design but would like alterations to be made i.e addition of extra or alternative images, this will be charged at an additional £25 – £50 depending on the work involved. Please contact NicolaDawn Designs for a personalised quotation.

4) All designs remain the copyright of NicolaDawn Designs and are not to be reproduced on any other items unless permission or files are supplied by ourselves.

5) NicolaDawn Designs reserves the right to add your design or elements of it to our range of stationery styles after your wedding date.

1) You will be advised of the earliest production and completion dates available prior to acceptance of an order.

2) Please allow up to four weeks from approval of proofs until delivery, depending on quantities and style ordered. We will keep you updated of your order status via email.

3) Orders will be sent via a Courier or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.

4) Delivery prices are subject to change, and you will be advised on the cost of delivery in your initial quotation.

4) You are responsible for providing accurate postal information and we cannot accept responsibility for the loss of orders if you fail to provide the correct address on the order form.

5) Any orders returned to us due to refusal of signature/collection will require a further delivery charge before orders are resent.

6) NicolaDawn Designs cannot be held responsible for any delay, loss or damage to goods after they have been dispatched.

1) Plagiarism is intellectual theft and will not be tolerated. Our website and all designs on it are the property of NicolaDawn Designs and are strictly subject to copyright.

2) Our designs and images may not be reproduced, copied, redistributed, modified or downloaded in any form without prior agreement. Likewise, please do not ask us to copy the work of another company or designers.

3) Please be aware that it is your responsibility to obtain permission for the use of any images, readings or lyrics provided to us eg. for Orders of Service.


1) NicolaDawn Designs reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions before placing an order.

2) NicolaDawn Designs reserves the right to amend prices without prior notice. This excludes any subsequent increase in order amounts by the client or any additional materials or labour additionally requested during production. However once your order has been confirmed and a deposit paid, the prices quoted are secure. All prices are inclusive of VAT.

3) The information provided on this website is subject to change in the future.

4) All invitations are hand crafted so there may be slight variations. This will not however affect the design or quality of the stationery.

5) The NicolaDawn Designs logo will appear discreetly on the reverse of all Save the Date cards, Invitations, Order of Services and Thank You cards, unless otherwise agreed during the design approval stage. A nominal fee may be charged for the removal of the logo at the discretion of NicolaDawn Designs.

6) All original artwork files are owned and to be retained by NicolaDawn Designs and will not be supplied to you the customer.

7) NicolaDawn Designs reserves the right to feature your stationery and descriptions of it on promotional material and the NicolaDawn Designs website, blog or facebook page, but will never disclose your personal or wedding details to third parties or online.

8) Premium quality pearlescent white envelopes are supplied with all invitations, save the dates. Alternative envelopes can be provided but may incur additional costs.

9) Please be aware that the embellishments used on some of our cards are small and may present a choking hazard to small children and babies.
